Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Cork

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our clients Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of computer-controlled production equipment used in a continuous manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in producing high-quality products while following all company standards and regulatory requirements.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract until November 30th, 2025.

Rate: €24.66 plus shift allowance

Several shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment such as Distributed Control Systems, Dicers, Reactors, Rotary Vacuum Filters, Spray Dryers, Fluid Bed Dryers, Packaging machines, and palletizers
  • Adhere strictly to work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment
  • Accurately record and interpret data, measurements, and process parameters
  • Safely transport raw materials and finished products using a forklift
  • Ensure packaging meets company and industry standards for distribution
  • Follow all Company policies related to Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Demonstrate flexibility and effective teamwork to improve operational efficiency
  • Support other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred
  • Familiarity with computer-controlled systems (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of GMP practices and safety procedures
  • Positive work attitude and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
  • Forklift experience is desirable
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and shift patterns as needed
